You might have been Pan, the Goat-God; he prances through the fertile countryside in the company of Nymphs playing his seven-reed pipe in wild abandon. But you got married.
Maybe Hades, Hades, Lord of the Underworld? Nahh....I can think of some bloggers who would qualify for that.

Are there still people sitting around worrying about how to get a link from the Instapundit?

...As I mentally recount the time the Instawife recommended my post in a Carnival she linked to. Is that a 3rd degree Instalaunch, or an Instalaunch once removed maybe? :)

I'm not quite sure what I'd do with a link from Instapundit. I'm afraid I don't have "look at me, look at me" mastered and still alternate, "look at me, don't look at me, look at me!" But it's fairly common for writers to be closet exhibitionists, so at least I'm in good company.

COD and Julie I think anyone who has a blog wants it to be read by as many people as possible. . Otherwise why aren't you just keeping a journal at home?
