Everybody had lots of fun Oscar-blogging - you can still read it here. But I'm beat, and am gonna take my Nyquil (not the wussy new kind) and go to bed.
Thank you for showing up. It was a better-than-expected Oscar night hangin' with y'all.
"gonna take my Nyquil (not the wussy new kind)"
Yeah, go ahead and ditch the old crow for jimmy bean:)
Where can you still buy the non-wussy old kind?
You guys were great. I read it after watching the never-ending Oscars and I laughed out loud many times. Congratulations. Just great!
Most of you were great but somebody shoulda made Peter Fonda shut up early in the evening.
You made watching the Oscars fun! Feel better.

Steve-
You bring to mind a line from True Grit:
"....and he seemed to be always down with something."
Can you still buy the old Nyquil? Please say yes!
Steve -- You mentioned wanting to see the Oscar nominated shorts. Every year, the Wichita public library airs all the shorts. It's the only city in the US other than LA (and maybe NY) where all the nominated shorts can be seen. And it's free. How cool is that?
The shame is that in the dozen years I've lived here, I've only gone to see the shorts once.
This year, a Disney VP flew in with the reel of a Pixar nominee (don't remember the name), went to the Wichita public library for the showing, took some questions from teh audience, and then got back on a plane with the film reel.

Why don't they just change the name to Gayquil?
Helloooooo . . . Mr. Green??? Where are you? You could at least give us some baby pics or something!
