As a confirmed batchelor/player I disagree with said conclusions. Male age 40's, financially secure, not rich, and not physically deformed is by far the very best decade for sex life satisfaction. Said satisfaction being based on the quality of partners, not quantity. Age 50+ no comparison.
Above predicated on the fact that the whole survey would be invalidated by including the, I'm jealous of, happily married contigent of any and all age groups.

Of course, tnx to cancer, I can't really comment on time post 50 something. But, will continue to praise the 40 something years as the best ever.

Thanks for the clarifications.

From my perspective, 55, things have just been getting better and better.

In my case, I suspect it is because of two aspects I mentioned above; lowered expectations and finally finding the perfect mate. Probably more the latter than the former.

I'd been married twice before and each was a disaster.

Now....well....

She's a cross between the woman described in Proverbs 31 and the Song of Solomon.
