Which sci-fi crew would you best fit in?

You scored as Serenity (Firefly)

Well, duh.

(Hat tip, Sailorette.)

Comments

Psyche! I'm Han Solo:

You scored as Millennium Falcon (Star Wars).

The world around you is at war. Fortunately you know how to handle that with the greatest of ease. You are one of the best at what you do and no one needs to tell you that. Now if only the droids could be quiet for five seconds.
---

Cracks me up -- I could tell which questions were tracked to each show. Surprisingly, I was only 69% Moya (Farscape). I got downgraded on not wanting to live on the frontier... heh.

That was fun. Thanks.

Posted by: Joan at February 9, 2006 11:57 PM

And where was the Liberator from Blakes 7? I scored Serenity, but if I'm going to let my anti big government paranio run riot can't I at least get a state of the art ship (even if the special effects were really dodgy)?

Posted by: Pauly at February 10, 2006 12:15 AM

Seems I was at a tie ---

You scored as Babylon 5 (Babylon 5).

The universe is erupting into war and your government picks the wrong side. How much worse could things get? It doesn’t matter, because no matter what you have your friends and you’ll do the right thing. In the end that will be all that matters. Now if only the Psi Cops would leave you alone.

Thing is percentage wise, I score 75% for Babylon 5 (Babylon 5), Serenity (Firefly), & Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix). I had a tie breaker question and that answer determined which of the three was on top.

Posted by: Angie at February 10, 2006 01:10 AM

Nobody else got SG-1?

Posted by: rosignol at February 10, 2006 01:11 AM

I was a tie between DS9 and B5 (the latter of which I never watched) DS9 made sense for me though.

I ended up with Farscape which means squat to me as I never watched the show.

Posted by: Imperator at February 10, 2006 04:56 AM

Yeah, I got SG-1, too. I'm so embarrassed...

Posted by: John at February 10, 2006 06:15 AM

I got the Nebuchadnezzar (Matrix) with 94% and then Serenity (Firefly) with 81%

Posted by: edgr at February 10, 2006 06:35 AM

Serenity - I'll take it, thank you very much.
Second was a tie between B5 and DS9. Gimme the B5 and hold the Starfleet, please.

The only good things in ST:DS9 were the Cardasian Tailor/Tinker/Soldier/Spy and the Ferengi bar owner.

Moya (Farscape) 88%
SG-1 (Stargate) 88%
Deep Space Nine (Star Trek)75%
Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix)69%
Serenity (Firefly)63%
Babylon 5 (Babylon 5)63%
Enterprise D (Star Trek)63%

Makes sense. I would love to set out on a ship (or wormhole) to explore the galaxy. It's funny that The X-Files scored so low (36%) since I'm applying to the FBI later this year. I guess its because I said I don't believe in most conspiracy theories, lol. I KNOW about most of them, though. Coast-To-Coast-AM is such a fun show to listen to. Well, it used to be. It was great when they just talked about aliens, bigfoot, shadow people, and the hidden images in the dollar bill. I turn it off when they start in on politics, though. How can you take someone's political opinions seriously if they claim we never went to the moon and that bigfoot is dining regularly at the white house?

Posted by: MikeTheLibrarian at February 10, 2006 08:11 AM

I scored as SG-1. Not suprised.

Posted by: Paula at February 10, 2006 08:17 AM

Serenity (Firefly) 100%
Moya (Farscape) 88%
Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix)88%
Babylon 5 (Babylon 5)75%
Deep Space Nine (Star Trek)69%
SG-1 (Stargate)69%
Enterprise D (Star Trek)63%
Millennium Falcon (Star Wars)50%
Andromeda Ascendant (Andromeda)44%
FBI's X-Files Division (The X-Files)38%
Bebop (Cowboy Bebop)31%
Galactica (Battlestar: Galactica)25%

No real surprises other than I would personally put the Falcon above all the Trek ships.

I think Galactica would have been higher had thier been questions about whether I would object to having an imaginary hot woman that seemed totally real in my head. :)

Posted by: Garrett at February 10, 2006 08:55 AM

SG-1 here. I was hoping for Farscape.

Posted by: Deacon Blues at February 10, 2006 09:41 AM

I scored 81% Farscape (rock on!), 75% Matrix, and 69% Firefly/SG-1. I was surprised at how low BSG was, very last.

Posted by: Red Five at February 10, 2006 09:47 AM

Babylon 5, followed closely by Battlestar Galactica.
B-5 sounds right.

Posted by: rbj at February 10, 2006 10:47 AM

I needed a tie-breaker - it was between Bab 5 (the BEST series ever) and Millenium Falcon.

Was Dr. Who an option?

Posted by: Sandy P at February 10, 2006 10:59 AM

I got a tie between Babylon 5 (which I never watched) and Battlestar Galactica, which I kind of like.

Would have prefered Serenity, but I know I'm not that cool.

Posted by: denise at February 10, 2006 12:19 PM

Nebuchadnezzar

but only at 75%. A bunch of stuff including Serenity at 69%.

Posted by: David at February 10, 2006 12:43 PM

Chuck-
Garak had such great lines.

Posted by: Sailorette at February 10, 2006 03:45 PM

Xena. Figures.

Seriously, SG-1. I'd have it no other way.

Posted by: dantes at February 10, 2006 04:13 PM

Before I run off and find out which ship I'm on...

Why do we do things like this? Don't we have lives?

LOL!

(better be Serentiy)

Posted by: Julie at February 10, 2006 04:16 PM

Argh! Those questions about joining the military (I have) or the FBI (I would) messed it up so bad...

They stuck me on DS9 or Battlestar Galactica.

DS9!

I didn't even *like* that show.

Posted by: Julie at February 10, 2006 04:22 PM

Argh! Those questions about joining the military (I have) or the FBI (I would) messed it up so bad...

No, I answered those the same way, and I got Serenity. I would rather have that cute engineer on Serenity, but still not a bad result...

Posted by: Siergen at February 10, 2006 04:58 PM

Stephen,
My deepest condolences for having to fit in with the, only BSG is a worse series, Firefly "crew"!
Thankfully, I came up on the "Empire Strikes Back", the best of all six Star Wars movies, as the Millenium Falcon. Does that mean Hans Solo? If
so, why not so state it?
Mike

Tied at 88% with Serenity & DS9. Tiebreaker was "Would you kill...". Um, yes. Which put me in Serenity - fine with me. (We have the DVDs from both series and movie, and my college kid met "The Preacher" in Indy this summer and has a whole shelf full of Serenity info.)Third & fourth also a tie at 81% (Moya & M/Falcon - caught only part of 2 of the Moya/Farscape recently - when I noticed that two of the characters are now in SG-1!)

Posted by: OldeForce at February 11, 2006 02:38 AM

Ah, a browncoat.

I'm starting to notice a a trend here. A liking of Firefly/Serenity allied to Libertarian or rightish political views.

Serenity (88%). Though it was a tie-breaker with DS-9.

Posted by: Ted B. at Charging Rhino at February 11, 2006 06:16 PM

Mike, who's Hans Solo? Some sort of East German knockoff of Harrison Ford flying around with a hirsute female powerlifter?

And I'd like to hear you explain why the two most critically lauded sci-fi shows ever are "the worst".

Posted by: Sam Muldia at February 12, 2006 08:13 AM

Sam,
Well, I was Millenium Falcon, not Hans Solo, and, since Solo was the eternal love interest for Princess Leia, your Nazi like connotation of him would seem to lack intelectual validity, as far as that term has any meaning in the fictional world we're all commenting on.
Critically lauded by who? A couple of libertarian bloggers who you happen to agree with, and I happen to enjoy?
I've been reading and watching SciFi since long before your birth I'd bet and, trust me, both Firefly and BSG are absolute crap when it comes to story lines and acting.
However, personal opinions are just that, and if you think Olmos acting as a dead person, and the Dr.'s continuing wet dreams in BSG are great, that's OK. Same for the belief that in some future universe a bunch of maladroits are going to own a FTL craft and go on some 19th Century Clipper type interstellar adventures.
Oh yeah, Rodenberry's 1960's universe continues to exist!
