Avian flu has come to Africa, the continent least able to cope with it.
Something interesting in that article - right toward the end... it said 11 people in China have contracted it - and 2 have died.
Seems a much lower percentage than the usual death rate reports. Does it mean that more people in China are reporting contracting it (with any flu, a lot of people just ignore it till they feel better) or is the health care better - or are they skewing their stats? You never know with China, but it's interesting.
The two that died were the ones that reported that someone in China had contracted it.
