From Agence France-Presse:
IRAN'S largest selling newspaper announced today it was holding a contest on cartoons of the Holocaust in response to the publishing in European papers of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed.
"It will be an international cartoon contest about the Holocaust," said Farid Mortazavi, the graphics editor for Hamshahri newspaper - which is published by Teheran's conservative municipality.
All I can say is: Bring'em on.
Haha. Well at least now they can't complain.
As far as I'm concerned, if they want to publish pictures of the Holocaust, they can for sure.
Heh...publishing cartoons of an event they insist didn't happen. That's what some might call ironic.
That’s fine. Nothing new here. Will we (in the West) be burning embassies, making death threats, and hold mass protests “in response”?
I wonder if they would publish a cartoon of Mohammed portrayed as a nazi guard killing Jews? Which part of that cartoon would be most offensive to "judges" in Tehran?
Just another example of the stupidity of their culture. Muslims are the world's rubes.
