It's the last day of Christmas vacation. Back tonight with the usual blather.
"... with the usual blather."
Hah! I see it is still far too soon in the life of your beautiful new bouncing baby boy for you to fully comprehend that the usual blather along with life as you have known it IS NOW OVER FOREVER!
But congratulations anyway.
I disagree. We got lots of stuff like this when my wife was expecting. Life as you have known it will still be there. You just need to have a sense of moderation and a reliable sitter. You'll find you enjoy it more.
2 cents.
Uh, Stephen I know you're busy and all, but we'd really appreciate it if you could give us some UNusual blather.
Sleeping yet?
As much as I'm interested in the usual blather, I was rather hoping for some VodkaTot updates, and perhaps some commentary on how the metamorphasis from VodkaPundit to VodkaParent is going. (I found that my infants all enjoyed snuggling on my shoulder while I typed away, one-handed.)
Not to discourage you in the least -- the usual blather is good, too! Hope you're all well.
No greater comfort than falling asleep with your baby on your chest... without dropping them, of course.
You're a lucky man. Happy New Baby and Happy New Year.
Dear Stephen,
Well, I don't post a lot, too much, but, I know who my friends are and I consider you one of them, I don't have too many (friends) if you know what I mean, just the right amount.
Through all the hell and high water we've been going through as North Americans I would like to say that your efforts on the net have encouraged me at times when I was low and the war seemed to be going on for ever...
"The things you do today will make a saint out of you, cashuwadawada...."
Some poetry from Neil Young.
Tonight I am enjoying some J. W. Black, that my brother gave me for the holidays. Man, I feel really good seeing your new child, you are truly blessed.
The painting reminds me of when I lived in California, (North) the state that has the most Canadians living outside of Canada in it, it also reminds me of places I have been through out the mid west, Route 66 and all.
I'd like to say again, that when the shit was hitting the fan and I was feeling poorly I would check-in with a few of the blog sites I consider foundational and your spirit reinforced my determination to carry on under depressing conditions. Which means, I guess that our characters overlap in a complementary fashion.
If ever I can be of assistance to you, you have but to ask and I shall consider, positively.
The best 2006.
God bless...
Kindly
Augurwell
