Deja vu, geek-style.

In other news, boy or girl, I'm thinking of naming our child Godot.
Exxplain the humor to the wife after the 3rd hour of labor. waiting.
For Godot.
You realize if you do that baby will be one of those that throws a fit in the stores just to embarass you. ;)
As a side note, I'm so excited for you!! :) I just love babies!!
That's a damn fine bottle of wine - year?
Ha! The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant, compared to the power of the Force.
check your private email for a message. don't tell melissa.
Steve,
My 15 year old daughter just spent all day yesterday (7:45am to 10:30pm) putting together the Star Destroyer, like you did last year. She took over my den with my flat screen and while she worked it, played Episodes 1-6 of Star Wars. With a couple of food breaks, piano practice, and a shower, she finished the project just as Return of the Jedi ran credits.
BTW -- we thought about getting her the Death Star 2, but the folks over at the super Lego Store in Downtown Disney in Orlando recommended against it. It is fragile and their display (although in a case) got bumped and fell apart. Now our project is to find a display place for the Star Destroyer.
Enjoy!
Jay
One more thing -- I chronicled her progress with pictures at every hour. Interesting to review how much work it really was.

OMG... I'll go mad if i construct this lego... but that's a great present!
Ahem...

Need to get one of those. :)
Feh, stupid linking....
Anyways, give a boy the middle name of Buck, and you will have a double joke. Just hope he doesn't grow to be as large as a Hoffmanite.
Question: Anybody seen Stephen?
Answer: I think he's headed for that small moon...
Hmmm, let's see, Steve:
1 - enjoys assembling Lego Star Wars products, and
2 - has a child on the way, suggesting he isn't a virgin.
Sorry, nope, just doesn't add up, friend. :)
Nice wine dude....but get the damn Lego game outta the way!
Lego envy...
I only got the Lego Millenium Falcon.
Still grateful though. Congrats on the little one.
Interesting stuff at that link, Steven. That guy has spent a lot of time figuring out how to do thos models in Lego. Especially the Yamato and the B-29.
Color me green with envy. However, my wife did give me a Darth Vader gumball machine for Christmas, so I got a little bit of Star Wars love...
Given the timing of the baby, I'm guessing the Death Star will be assembled about as quickly as the original was.
