I got mine and am quite happy to just be on the list. You can't make everyone happy.
BTW, I truly doubt that anyone considers Liars & Crooks to be part of the President's base.
:)
I guess it's better than "Season's Greetings". Maybe they mean it by the root word of Holiday... Holy day.
I just wonder if they're going to refer to the Christmas tree as a "Holiday tree", and a Menorah as a "Holiday Candlestick"
Give me a break. One of my co-workers is a Bush supporter who received the card....and he is Jewish and doesn't celebrate Christmas. Seems to me that this IS the HOLIDAY SEASON in which many AMERICANS celebrate different customs and traditions. The Republican party does not belong to the religious right and they need to start realizing this fact. Have a wonderful Crismahanukwanzakah!!
I'm part of what gets labled "religous right." Honestly, in and of itself, the phrase "Happy Holiday's" never bothered me. For one thing, New Years is right after Christmas. For another thing, more that a handful of people celebrate Hannukah.
What does bother me is the insistance that one say "Happy Holidays, Season's Greetings," etc., instead of Christmas because someone might get offended. When we get to the point where people treat the word "Christmas" like a four letter word, we are no place nice.
Theocracy!!!!!
Oh. Wait... nevermind.
Some of us RINO/DINOs are part of his base too. I'm glad Bush understands the separation of church and state.
I think the WH 'Holiday Card' should send well wishes to all peoples of all faiths.
And wish athiests, like Setphen, good luck in Hell!
HA! I don't think your're going to hell, Stephen, but God does. . .
All i can say to the atheist wackos is MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU BLOCKHEADS
