Say hello to the newest member of the blogosphere - all six pounds, two ounces of him.
Thanks. :)
Now, can anyone tell me where the "Sleep" button is on this thing?
The wee Fiona didn't seem to have one either... I suspect a flaw in the "intelligent design."
The sleep button on ours came attached to a clothes dryer. Turn that thing on, rock her a little near it and it's lights out baby.

Good work there.
RE: Sleep Button
With Lisa, it was one of those table-side electric motor swings. They stand about 4 feet tall so that we could set her by the table. Turn the motor on and it rocked her to sleep in a few minutes.
I suspect, based on the report above, that swinging induces sleep in the youngsters.
RE: Growing
So, with two now, have you noticed a change in your political outlook? Something along the lines of becoming more 'conservative' than you were before you had even one?
Is there something of an experiment we could run with Stephen? What would be the parameters we should watch/measure?
Regards,
Chuck(le)
P.S. Be careful when moving the lad from breast milk to formula.
With Lisa, we awoke to shrill screaming in the middle of the night we made the move.
Ruth applied a homoepathic, which was difficult, as Lisa didn't want ANYTHING ELSE by mouth that might further upset her already very upset tummy.
Five minutes later, we had our happy child back again.
Nope, no change in my politics; still very much a small-L libertarian atheist type.
We'll only use formula as a last resort, so not too worried about it. Fiona was fed from the teat for two years; I suspect Ewan will be the same.
