In short: What we are doing over there is really really tough. Given the conditions we are working in, our forces along with the thousands of Iraqis who continue to sign up are doing an incredible job.

An under reported aspect of the difficulties the Iraqi security forces are having, is the fact that their ranks are filled with spies of the insurgency. It’s hard to mount a counter insurgency when they know your coming.

In short: This is really really tough.
