Interesting that one of the "good guys," Google, has been showing signs of infection by political correctness of late.

A few paragraphs down, this guy says, "Political labels mean zilch here." Yet the whole thrust of this article is based on political labels.

Perhaps if he recharacterized his analogy to, people who have a vision and who were driven to making that vision reality. Because there is nothing more disruptive than a new idea. Just ask Galileo, Newton, Tesla & Einstein.

All of his examples of "disrupters" are exactly that.
Men and women who had a vision and the intelligence, energy and work ethic to make that vision into reality. As Edison once said, "genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration."

Looking at it that way, you can eliminate all the cheesy partisan political perspectives. Then politics indeed would mean zilch here.

I think the message the author's trying to convey is more fundamental and timeless and I guess it is true, that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Ok, I'm done flogging the metaphors for a while. I'll just get back to my lunch.
