Remember wheh Communists had all the cool culture? Movies by Eisenstein, bold graphic art on propaganda posters, truly heroic sculpture... you get the idea.

(Hell, up until fairly recently, you couldn't even find a decent right-leaning movie in this country. If our artists weren't all capital-C Commies, they sure seemed to travel that direction.)

So it's with no small amount of pleasure that I tell you that the tide has turned: The Communists can't even do decent web design any more.

Don't pile too much praise on the communists, Stephen. Remember that they were also responsible for the "Monument to the Third International," a structure that remains mercifully unbuilt. If it had ever been constructed, even as a scale model, it would have necessitated that we revisit all our ideas of ugly.

Someone had a list gong on their website a while back of great right-leaning movies. If I remember, it was in response to a list of right-leaning movies posted on Nat'l Review (The NRO list was pretty dorky. The second was much better.)

Does anyone remember where it was?

Sounds like a plan: we can put the food court right underneath. Lenin Lunches, Trotsky Ice Pops, Heroic Glorious Revolutionary People's Hot-Dogs... all at a suitable markup, of course.

Because there's nothing out there that Americans can't adapt to the noble purpose of making money, that's why. Besides, cadging cash out of Commie kitch... pure bliss, that is.
