About the secret Bush Tapes, Mickey Kaus says that "another round of explosive front-page revelations from secretly recorded phone conversations like today's and Bush's approval will hit 70 percent."
I'm guessing the Dems will come out with some "secretly recorded" tapes a week before the next election with their guy saying just the right things.

The tapes shouldn't have been revealed. Barring evidence of unfitness to hold office, they should have remained secret until W had left office.
I suspect the individual who made the recordings is going to discover that he is now persona non grata as far as the Bush family is concerned- and he should be.

GW is got all his opponents psyched out because he really means what he says and believes in it and that informs how he acts, period. None of the typical politician waffle around to be popular. He's a real man taking on Political animals and he's got their number and they can't get his because they find it impossible to take someone at face value. It's outside their experience
