This is excellent invective. It must come from bloggers. But wait, it was the mainstream media and their maidservants in the elite journalism reviews, and they were talking about bloggers!
Those MSMers have gone wild, I tell you! The tendentious language, the low insults. It's the Wild Wild West out there. We may have to consider legislation.

Nice to see someone, especially Peggy Noonan, gets it. The MSM is outside the blog OODA loop and can't compete in real time. Less than 24 hrs. after Rather's braodcast, the blogs had proved they were forgeries and CBS affiliates were being bombarded with complaints, while some MSM were just starting to report. When the blogs swarm, the MSM just can't react quickly enough -- witness Eason Jordan -- the battle was over before they even knew it had begun. It's 21st century military strategy applied to the information network.
I think what everyone is missing is that the MSM don't hate the blogs because they're jealous of its freedom. They hate the blogs because we have become their real-time editors and fact-checkers -- a role abdicated by their "paid" editors and fact-checkers long ago -- particularly as it applies to identifying their biases.
They're acting like DMV workers who woke up one day and actually had to listen to their customers. They hate us because they just found out that the customer is "right" after all.

Some are decidedly jealous of our freedom. Different people have different motives.
She presented a strong enough case that I'll personally overlook any weaknesses.

It seems she left out left-leaning blogs who agree with CJR. Hmmm typical conservative skewed data model. Well they aren't science majors are they?

As Ed Morrissey said (and I actually emailed to him in slightly different language last night) is that they don't seem to understand that we're the customer, not the competetor. They act irritated like DMV workers who actually have to listen to the poor slobs on the other side of the counter now.
It's not that at all. It's just because you want false news and views served to you on a platter of bias. Sorry Charlie, Starkist ain't buying it.
