We got about 2-3 inches in my neck of north Denver metro; how was it in the Springs, Herr Vodka?
About 12 inches South of you in Canon.
Now you just need a UV filter. ;)
A little too much flare, not that I should talk. Maybe try it when the sun is just coming over the mtns.
I was actually going for flare that evening. Removed the lens hood and the UV filter, and set the exposure for the foreground, not the sunset.
But I did use the polarizing filter, hence all that nice blue in the sky. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it would have been completely washed out.
