The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has a flash announcement on their website that local, state, and federal resources will combine to investigate voter fraud in Milwaukee in November 2004:

Local and federal law enforcement authorities are finalizing a task force that is to look into potential fraud in Milwaukee in the Nov. 2 election, sources confirmed today.
The details are being worked out between Milwaukee County District Attorney E. Michael McCann, U.S. Attorney Steve Biskupic, Milwaukee Police Chief Nannette Hegerty and the local office of the FBI.

The task force comes in the wake of Journal Sentinel revelations that more than 1,200 votes came from invalid addresses and that there were other problems with how the election was run in the city.

Bravo, George Will! You see, we have intellectually "outlawed" sex-based differences research, in favor of so-she-ology (which is how it should now be spelled in its post-modernist form and to reflect the sociology major's majority numbers) and the study of gender politics. Why? Because "gender" as a concept (or construct) is mutable. It can be changed, shifted, redefined. Sex based differences are seen as immutable. And, that just wouldn't do.

I was once thrownout of the MIT Bar. A Lady asked me what University I had attended and I said "Auburn University". She said, "It can't be much of a school, I've never heard of it". I said "Well, I don't think much of MIT, either. You don't even have a football team". It took more than one. At that time, the only University sanctioned sport that I'm aware of, all there were possibly others, was rowing, MIT being right along the Charles River.

When the Republicans won big in 1994 I was wandering around the house and noticed some gospel music coming from the tv.. It took me about 30 seconds before I was stunned and actually frightened to find out it was a serious wail about the return of slavery to the Nation due to the Republican victory.

They thought they were frightened? Lord help me, instead. I'd been struck by the incomprehensible and was sore afraid.

I'm as solidly NE yankee as they come, by both attitude and genealogy.
