DING! Already a modern classic.

Comments

I don't know -- the Twelve STDs of Christmas might give it a run for the money.

Posted by: Uncle Squid at December 13, 2004 12:10 PM

You do realize that the Ding! site has been around for years, right?

It's still pretty funny though.

Posted by: dave at December 13, 2004 01:25 PM

Very funny - should be a Christmas classic!

Posted by: David at December 13, 2004 01:29 PM

I would have to throw my vote to the STDs one.

Posted by: Angie at December 13, 2004 01:31 PM

I just wet myself.

Posted by: Howard McEwen at December 13, 2004 01:38 PM

URL doesn't work right now.

Posted by: Kevin Breit at December 13, 2004 02:00 PM

You think all the people linking to it from Vodkapunit messed it up? LOL

Posted by: David at December 13, 2004 02:14 PM

maybe some people have different humor than to laugh at a mentally retarded kid

Posted by: 2 at December 13, 2004 05:53 PM

I saw this last Christmas season and couldn't stop laughing. It's nice to be able to make fun of the less fortunate. It makes the holiday season that much more bearable. LOL

Posted by: Jaundiced Jaw at December 13, 2004 09:52 PM

All of my sisters insist on singing this song... endlessly

Posted by: Leo at December 14, 2004 01:34 AM

Sounds like the perfect song to use to waken someone who has a hangover. Merry Christmas!

Posted by: Denise at December 14, 2004 03:45 AM

maybe some people have different humor than to laugh at a mentally retarded kid

Maybe, but I'm laughing at you anyway.

Posted by: McGehee at December 14, 2004 08:39 AM

Pretty funny, but aren't you ashamed to be making fun of Democratic Underground posters?

Posted by: Joe Bonforte at December 14, 2004 12:05 PM

Democratic Underground?!? I thought it was Tider Insider!

Posted by: Will Collier at December 14, 2004 12:36 PM

*gasp* I can't bring myself to laugh at retarded people, handicap people (except for Christopher Reeve), or animal cruelty.

Posted by: princess Kimberley at December 14, 2004 02:03 PM

However, I am forwarding the link to everyone know!

Posted by: Princess Kimberley at December 14, 2004 02:05 PM

Mentally retarded? Out here in Washington, we just call them WSU students.....

This just has that 'There's Something About Mary' feel to it that makes it alright in my book!

Posted by: OneDrummer at December 14, 2004 03:58 PM

all well argued by people who have no loved ones who are MR.

if you want something to chuckle at go check out the deleted scene from Team America:

http://www.fleshbot.com/sex/straight/video/team-america-sex-scene-027205.php#team-america-sex-scene-027205

and laugh at how something like that can be edited for gratuitous nudity (yes on puppets)

as for my political leanings, why would I have this site on an aggregator if I truly couldn't stand the right wingers? I voted for the Governator thank you very much

Posted by: 2 at December 14, 2004 05:31 PM

Hey -- all you naysayers -- how the hell do you know that the person in the animation is "retarded?"

Posted by: David at December 19, 2004 03:33 AM

David: Hey -- all you naysayers -- how the hell do you know that the person in the animation is "retarded?"

Er, because we can read? Look at the LED display on the cash register. It reads "The Retard Choir Christmas Carol."
Funny in sixth grade, maybe. Funny to this adoptive mother of a very sweet little girl with MR? Not even.
And it's rank hypocrisy coming from those who professed offense at the Democrat campaign poster mocking the Special Olympics.
