PLEASE don't play with our minds like that!!! Immediately, I began working out the timing: Game 7 of the ALCS is tonight. The NLCS will be decided in another day or so. The World Series could conceivably start next Monday or Tuesday, which could CONCEIVABLY put a deciding game of "potentially" Texas vs Massachusetts on either Election Day Eve OR Election Day. Salvador Dali once had a concept short film regected by Disney for "Fantasia" that used baseball as a metaphor for life. I wonder if knew had any idea.....

Well, I have friends who are Redskins fans who now are rooting against them, and vice versa.

So, it's only fair for those who love the Red Sox, too, to have to make a decision or two, perhaps, on whom to root for.

Dumb q: is it still a pennant race? I thought that term was for winning your division in the regular season?

Or, since the Yanks & Sox both got in the playoffs coming from the same div, does that change things?

Yes, I noticed. I'm slightly panicking. So help me, if this plays out as "imagined", I am applying for Ms. Cleo's former job. Or, locking myself in a cave until the dust settles. I am not sure that I want to WATCH this particular metaphor come into being. I just want to know how Dali knew???
