Telltale Signs?

One from the campaign trail, and the other from North Carolina's early voting.

Completely off-topic, but what the hell happened to Allah?

I've been wondering myself. Best I can come up with is waiting until election day to put up the sequel to the pic currently at the top of the page.

I pinged Him a week ago - he said he's OK. For some reason, I've got it in my head he's on hiatus until this silly baseball thing on the east coast is over.

As far as the early poll, I suspect it might be too early to draw any conclusions, unless we know what the overall percentage of voters have voted... 2,250 out of how many registered? It would be helpful....

please! everyone must listen to this... it's hilarious!

Way to premature to draw conclusions on the vote. Black voters may be in short supply because all of them are using absentee ballots so the fat sheriff doesn't let his attack dogs loose on them.

Chris loved the audio of Kerry debating himself. He's just as convincing pro as he is con. Whatta guy!

erp

Your comment establishes the fact that you are a racist fearmonger.

Posted by: syn at October 19, 2004 04:52 PM

Hm... how do you intimidate someone at the polls when they're voting absentee?

Posted by: rosignol at October 19, 2004 04:54 PM

syn, Your analysis of my comments establishes the fact that you are in dire need of a sense of humor transplant and sarcasm meter and Rosie, if you are referring to my post, it's sarcasm.

If it's a real question, the answer is I don't know how you intimidate someone at the polls when they're not at the polls, but voting absentee.

Sorry for the double post. My new laptop is so fast, it gets away from me.

Posted by: erp at October 19, 2004 05:50 PM

North Carolina, what election are you watching?

Posted by: John at October 19, 2004 08:02 PM

"My new laptop is so fast, it gets away from me."

So in addition to the racist fearmongering, you're also an elitist!

Dear Stephen:

Please do not ban me from your website anymore. I cannot bear not to take part in this robust exchange of generally quite similar viewpoints. I hate having to keep coming up with new names to get around your screens. If I ever get confused by the numerous, frequently shifting rationales given by the Bush administration for the war in Iraq, I need only come here and I can read any number of rambling, largely incomprehensible explanations for this debacle. Please, I can toe the party line. In the best tradition of true patriots--the kind who do not question the president--I promise not to write anything that is the least bit critical of anything you write.

Sincerely,

Guess...

Sigh. A troll is a troll is a troll - the least, however, a troll could do is make his comment under the proper blog entry. You know, the one where he used my name to post his own opinion.

Please note, dear reader, that I hadn't one whit to say about his opinion. Merely that I don't like my name being used to sign someone else's work.

And so I've banned another (?) troll. But I bet you can guess which one.

Erp

Sorry I was so low.

As a result, I re-filled my sarcasm meter and have scheduled a humor transplant.
