I like Cheney's highlighting of the election and the progress in AFghanistant. Schools are opening, women are voting, girls are being educated.
Now Edwards is back to Osama being still at large. He's also defending the global test statement.
Chency is comparing the situation in Afghanistan with El Salvador 20 years ago. If Edwards can switch gears so can Cheney.

Posted by: Jim at October 5, 2004 07:16 PM

I am live blogging but no drinkage. :(

Posted by: David Schneider-Joseph at October 5, 2004 09:14 PM

Among the candidates, I called it for Cheney at about 9:55. The real winner was Gwen Eiffel.

Always live blogging, baby. Always.

Posted by: zombyboy at October 5, 2004 09:37 PM

I've got my post up at http://realordeal.blogspot.com/
I already have a decent list of Edwards' faults. Definitly a Cheney victory.

Hi Folks! I did my first live-blog tonight, and I think you'll be interested in my thoughts. Let me know what you think.

Posted by: Jeff Kingsbury at October 5, 2004 09:53 PM

Okay, so I didn't live blog the debate, but I came pretty close. I didn't plan on watching it all, but I had a glass of Maker's then flipped on the tv and then was sucked in. I grabbed a pen and paper and then posted (mostly) what I wrote down two glasses of Maker's later.

Drunk and close to live blogging here.

(We can't all be James Partridge Lennon can we?)

Me too.

Posted by: annika at October 6, 2004 10:53 AM

I wanted to liveblog, but drank a little too much. Besides I wasn't very impressed and I felt both sides were exaggerating way too much. However I do feel Cheney lied more, if that means anything.

Posted by: Sean Carter at October 6, 2004 04:12 PM

CSMonitor.com, the website of The Christian Science Monitor newspaper, is liveblogging with a twist: we've got commentators from the left and right in dialogue.
