Taking Glenn's advice -- drinking beer tonight.
UPDATE
Somebody asked, so I'm going to tell. I've got Fat Tire on tap, and Rounders in the DVD drive. Life is good.
Almost telepathically, I started before he even posted such fine advice. Natty Boh and the little red box got me through the DNC's latest episode. Might have to bring out the shot glass for episode IV.
What brand/type of beer?
I'm envious. I'm on Benadryl. :(
Life's always good with a nice beer in hand :)
Rounders?!?
You've either had too much or not enough.
IMHO, "Rounders" contains Turturro's single greatest delivery of a line. To wit:
Jo: Knish, how are you?
Knish: The same.
No beers last night, but I hit the Michigan Beer festival in Ypsi saturday. Got in free for giving my neighborhood brewery a hand. They brought their regulars and also made a Breakfast of Champions collection: Blueberry Pancake Ale; Maple Lager; Breakfast Sausage Stout; Hashbrown Ale; and, best of all, Creme Brulee Java Stout. Very nice.
Fat Tire on tap? Watch out for the spare tire on your belt! :o)
Yes, that's the line of an envious man....gotta special order the FT down in Louisiana, I miss it so...
Beefeater Martinis and The World Is not Enough. After all, the alternative was to listen to Sharpton shout.
Fat Tire's nasty.
Period.
Sorry.
"Fat Tire's nasty"???
Only a drinker of "Traditional American Beer" (i.e. Bud, Coors, Miller, or other such piss) would say that.
Sadly I can't get FT, or any other real beer, in NC, because of the Methodists and Southern Baptists (no beer over 6%).
You simply cannot go wrong with Rounders.
"Sorry Johnny, I don't remember."
The laws just changed here in Georgia to allow higher alcohol content in beer. And I can not wait for someone to start selling Fat Tire. Its the first thing I order when I go back to Colorado.
