Oh, but it's the American military that is always blamed for turning its soldiers into "killing machines." Christ.
Good thats horrible. Can't they just use PETA activists instead?
Jesus... thats sick... I hope I sleep well tonight.
What does this have to do with being a soldier and protecting your country?
Also.
I realize this is a bit "clinical" but I gather from the article that it takes more than one attack to kill a competly restrained and exposed animal. Isn't it the goal of a "professional" soldier to kill as quickly and efficiently as is possible.
This is clearly beyond torture for it's own sake. It's bloodlust as a "reward".
excuse me while I go throw up.
I can only hope two things:
One, that that grenade tossing ritual eliminates som of the stupider soldiers.
Two, that fake machismo does not equal actual fighting skills.
I'm getting ill.
to quote samuel L "this is some fucked up repugnant shit".
I am with Tanya on this, I am not squeamish either but any cruelty to animals just destroys me. "Man's inhumanity to Man" neither surprises nor disturbs me, it is part of the natural order of things it seems. If any of the African leaders gave a toss about their people, U.S. corn, G.E. or otherwise, would be welcomed to stop the famines. Similarly, animals in the wild kill, and I can't control or stop that, and neither can they, as they operate on instinct. Humans have evolved further, at least some of us have-
It's things like this that make me hope there is a hell. What else can you do to punish people for this type of inhumanity?
