Good news on another possible war: Pakistani and Indian soldiers are, after many stressful months, being ordered back to their barracks.
yeah it was all a waste of time anyways. With the US physical presence increasing in Pakistan, the chance of even a small-scale conventional war is remote. I think the mandarins on both sides realize that.
I'm not certain that peace in Asia is in any way in the western hemisphere's best interests. Global warming may speculative, but global population explosion is, and has been a reality. Regardless of who uses what percentage of what resources, there are a lot more users of a rapidly shrinking pool of "stuff". If it comes to water for oil...keep the water! It doesn't burn.
