It was a brave statement by Jimmy Carter. Brave because it WILL be remembered. And, say, two years from now, campaign-time, we will SEE just where the people of Iraq, Iran, and North Korea stand on that day.
And we will see just whether Jimmy Carter is right. And if he is wrong, and he has made a career out of being wrong, I will personally put his words on a twenty foot banner and carry it to Democratic campaign rallies across the land.
