We just went through Moving Weekend. Other than some clothes and some personal items, Melissa's stuff is all here now. Some of my old stuff went to the dump or was given away.
It was a lot of work. We're very tired. On the other hand, I now have a guest room worthy of, well, guests.
Next project? Organizing, cleaning, and re-organizing. I'll be back just as soon as I'm able.
When I move, I prefer the three year rule (which has an exception only for very personal mementos and books and lp's).
If I have not worn, used or thought of something in three years, it goes to the Salvation Army.
Isn't it interesting that all your old stuff is junk, but all her old stuff is a treasured keepsake. I think that this must be a universal truth as all my male friends relate the same stories.
So begins the evil process of domestication.
In the words of slick willie..."I feel you pain". Just got through doing the same thing. I now own a house with someone elses furniture in it.
I am a fan of the 3 year rule although I prefer 2 years.
Congrats!
Come on Rocky boy...
Stephen dropped in, stinkin' of vodka?
Hello Stepehen....
I was wondering when you were going to get married? The page says August, but I'm sure some of us are wondering when/where to send cards :-)
Sorry I spelled your name wrong. I'm a big dork :-)
